Current projects

My next two novels will be loosely based on short stories which have already been written. Neither has a working title as yet - with Chasing Shadows, the title came to me almost as soon as I began writing.

The story of Eva, the young immigrant who passes through Liverpool on her way to join her fiance in New York in the early 1900s, is on hold while I concentrate on Kitty - a young married woman in war-torn Liverpool in the 1940s, whose sisters try, sadly unsuccessfully, to shield her from the consequences of her actions.

As well as progressing with my own writing, I am currently running a creative writing group and a reading group for my local U3A.
